I am using a KStep and need 2 more outputs. I am only using 3 of the drive motors. Would it be possible for me to use one of the motor drives as an output? I am guessing you have some H-Bridge drivers for each of the motor coils. Any chance this could work?

I can't see how that would work. The H-bridge drivers are part of and internal to a microstepping chip.
A common solution is to add solid state relays that can be driven by LVTTL signals. Or winford sells a low cost Relay board that will connect to LVTTL signals:
